This Privacy Policy explains how Team Quest ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Gregory Phillip Thayer, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Team Quest mobile application and related services (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Team Quest is built for youth sports teams, including children under 13. We take children's privacy seriously and design our data practices to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Apple's guidelines for kids' apps. Accounts for minors are created and managed by a parent, legal guardian, or coach, who is responsible for that child's use of the App.

Information you provide:

• Account details such as name (or nickname), email address (typically a coach's or parent's), and team information.
• Player profiles, including a display name, sport, skill progress, XP, medals, and avatar/card selections.
• Content created in the App, such as drills, quiz questions, team goals, and rewards.

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage and device information (device type, operating system, app version) used to keep the App running reliably and to fix problems.
• In-app activity such as completed practices, quiz results, and progress, which power the App's gamification features.

Information we do NOT collect:

• We do not collect precise location data.
• We do not require children to provide personal information beyond what is needed to participate on their team.
• We do not sell personal information.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage accounts and team rosters.
• Track practice progress, XP, medals, leaderboards, and rewards.
• Provide coach tools (drills, quizzes, goals, rewards) for teams with an active trial or subscription.
• Maintain, improve, and troubleshoot the App.
• Communicate important account, safety, or service updates.

A parent, guardian, or coach must set up and supervise any account used by a child under 13. We collect only the limited information needed for a child to participate on their team, and we use it solely to provide the App's features. We do not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary. Parents and guardians may review, request deletion of, or refuse further collection of their child's information at any time by contacting us (see Section 10).

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only:

• Within a team: A player's display name and progress are visible to their coach and, where applicable, teammates as part of the team leaderboard and gameplay.
• With service providers: Trusted vendors who help us operate the App (for example, hosting, analytics, and subscription/payment processing) and who are bound to protect the information.
• For legal reasons: When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the App.

Coach Pro subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment and billing information is handled directly by Apple under their privacy policy; we do not receive or store your full payment details. We may receive limited information confirming subscription status.

We keep information for as long as an account is active or as needed to provide the App. You may request deletion of an account and its associated data at any time, after which we will delete or anonymize it, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal obligations.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Parents and guardians may exercise these rights on behalf of their children. To make a request, contact us at the email below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
